Over the past 29 years, Bettws Hall Game Farm has continued to work hard to produce the finest quality pheasant, partridge and ducks for delivery across the UK either as chicks or poults. As a result of continued investment in our state of the art game hatchery – we are now recognized as the leader in game production in the UK.
The Most Modern UK Game Farm Facility
The business has grown from setting 1000 eggs per week in an old turkey incubator to setting over 600,000 eggs per week in the most modern game farm facility in the UK.
We rear in excess of 1.5 million poults per year over 50 different sites around Mid Wales and Shropshire – each of these sites are run by Bettws Hall, giving us total control over the husbandry, health and wellbeing of our game farm stock.
In addition to our game farm and hatchery facilities – Bettws Hall also runs 7 successful sporting estates so there is no hatchery more knowledgeable and more aware of the importance of rearing fit, strong and healthy birds. You have our guarantee that the birds you receive will be of the same excellent quality as those we use for our own estates.
“A trip to Bettws Hall is so much more than shooting quality birds. The excitement builds from the moment you pack your kit and the experience starts when you reach your destination in deepest darkest Wales. The two days we had with your team will stay in our memories for many a year. Vaynor Park never disappoints and once again provided quality quarry a plenty and we made the Brigands the next day even harder by handicapping ourselves with sizeable hangovers from the superb hospitality back at the pub then the lodges. It’s the shooting that brings you to Bettws but it’s always the fun we have over the two great days that brings us back every year. And long may that continue – Alex Keevil”

Further to meeting you this morning as we were leaving I just wanted to email and say how fantastic your accommodation is at Bettws Hall.
We were invited to a weekend Birthday, sadly we could only travel up on Sunday so our stay was all too brief.
As I mentioned we have a place in Cornwall which we let. We have 5 stars and a gold award with Visit England and we went on to win Gold at Cornwall Tourism Awards and then Gold at S W England regional awards for best self-catering property…. That said I think your property –The Willows – is absolutely fabulous and very well equipped. It was an absolute delight to stay and we will not hesitate in recommending what you offer to our guests if they want a change from Cornwall as that part of Wales and getting there is such a treat in itself.
The location is also so very beautiful and getting there from Cornwall was less of a drive than I expected it to be. We had such wonderful scenery coming up through Wales and again on our return..
Thank you so much again for your welcome and hospitality and indeed for all the attention to detail that makes your place special and so enjoyable for your guests.
With best wishes, Stephen Chidgey

To The Bettws Hall team,
Thank you so much for making my day at Chargot so memorable. The attention to detail put into every aspect of the Bettws Hall experience is second to none.
A special thanks must go to the Chargot team; they really are faultless in every way. Jack hosting the day made it look effortless and the gamekeeper Dan and his team presented birds of the best quality that will be remembered for a very long time.
Last but not least at the Lodge, George and the Chef provided us with exceptional hospitality; great food and immaculate service.
Thank you all. See you next season.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for last weekend, we had a lovely time. The location is stunning and the Lodge is just amazing. I couldn’t fault anything at all. The Lodge is beautifully done with such lovely attention to detail. Anne is so helpful and friendly, please pass on our thanks to her.
Amazing lodge in a stunning location
I would just like to say a huge thank you to the team at Vaynor Park, I shot a 500 bird day on Tuesday 24th October, and what a fantastic day it was!
The birds were superb, the lowest shootable birds were higher than most high birds in Kent.
The scenery around the shoot was beautiful as was the estate.
The hospitality on the day was second to none, being a single gun, I was made welcome as soon as I arrived.
I would recommend this shoot to anyone, I will hopefully return for another day.
Our host, the beaters and the picker ups made this a day to remember, and I certainly will !
