Join our housekeeping team as a part-time cleaner tending to the overall presentation of our luxury lodges.



We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals to assist with the cleaning and change-overs of our 5-star self-catered accommodation, based in Bettws, Mid-Wales.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working on their own initiative as well as working as part of an enthusiastic team.

Hours & Salary

This is a part-time role, generally

Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm. Hours and days may vary depending on bookings.

Hospitality Manager

We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic individual to join our team and manage the hospitality sector of our diverse business at Bettws Hall. A passionate leader with a proven track record of motivating and engaging your team, you will deliver the absolute best hospitality experience for our clients. 


The Role

You will be responsible for managing our lodges, of which the structure and dynamic changes with the business's seasonal requirements. From the 1st Feb to the 31st Aug our lodges are available for self-catering use as well as a wedding venue. From 1st Sept to 31st Jan we welcome our national and international shooting clients. As well as the lodges, the company also owns a local pub/restaurant of which you will be working alongside the Executive Chef to manage the front-of-house aspect.


All Year Round

- Managing the team at the lodges, planning the rota, staff training, holiday approval and annual appraisals

- Working alongside the Executive Chef to manage the Bull & Heifer pub/restaurant

- Manage budget and implement targets for the hospitality sector of the business

- Reporting to the Internal Operations Director on a bi-weekly basis

- Alongside the Executive Chef oversee and implement all recruitment for the hospitality side of the business

- Manage an on-call rota with your team so that guests have a point of contact 24/7

- Maintain high-standards across all aspects of the role from the cleanliness of the rooms to the customer service and face-to-face interaction


Self-catering Season (1st Feb - 31st Aug)

- Meet & Greet Self-catering Clients

- Manage any catered evening requests with the Executive Chef

- Work alongside the Sales Department to discuss upcoming bookings availability and assist with the marketing

- Manage any weddings which are booked in (an area we are looking to grow)


Hours are generally 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri but with flexibility depending on customer's requirements

Exclusive Use for our Shooting Clients (1st Sept - 31st Jan)

- Work with the Gunroom Manager to make sure clients are met on arrival and any charges for wine and so on are passed on to the guests at checkout

- Manage the rota to cater for catered evenings in each lodge: Dinner, Bed & Breakfast

- Work with the Shoot Co-ordinator to make sure all requirements are met for the client's trip

- Training staff at the lodges as well as the staff taking care of front-of-house elements at the company's 6 sporting estates, all within a 45 minute drive of the lodges


Hours during this season are more varied and generally a split-shift approach is best taken to ensure guests can build relationships with the hospitality manager

Salary, Start Date and Contact

£40,000+ per annum, starting in Spring 2022.
