Game Farm & Machinery Operative
Due to the expansion of our team and constantly 'raising the bar' in our industry, we are now seeking enthusiastic individuals with a 'can-do' attitude to join our market-leading game farm team.
This is an exciting and varied role which will include, but not limited to, livestock husbandry (chicks and poults), assisting on our rearing fields, estate maintenance and track work, internal poult deliveries, crop drilling, tractor and digger work, beating, and general duties where required during the seasons.
We are proud to have a hard-working core team at the hub of our family company that supports all departments throughout our shooting and rearing seasons. We never stand still, and neither will you as our team grows and develops together.

Game Farm Sales Manager
We have a very exciting opportunity for a suitably knowledgeable and experienced individual to manage the sales for our market-leading game farm.
This full-time role will include distributing chicks and poults across the UK & Ireland, managing its logistics, customer care structure and general development and sales growth.
SALES & CUSTOMER CARE
-Liaising with customers on a daily basis to maintain strong existing customer relationships and building new ones.
-Working with the marketing department to build the database and create new enquiries.
-Manage all game farm sales from chicks and poults to rearing sheds and equipment.
-Managing customer expectations to the highest standard from point of enquiry through to delivery, customer care reports and debt collecting.
-Achieve targets and report weekly sales to Directors.
LOGISTICS
-Working with Operations Directors to ensure supply of products satisfies sales requirements.
-Dealing with all export & import paperwork relating to sales into Ireland.
-Ensuring products are delivered timely, safely and to a high standard.
SHOOT SEASON ROLES
-Working with the Shoot Department to host days on our estates throughout the season (1st Sept - 1st Feb)
-Attending shows to promote the game farm department and other sectors of the business.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Previous experience of working within a sales role (not necessarily within the sector) and knowledge of game farming as well as a confident, interpersonal demeanour are required. You will also need to have good computer skills and a strong problem solving initiative.

Senior Sous Chef
A unique opportunity to join the reputable hospitality team at Bettws Hall Sporting Estates as a Senior Sous Chef, diverse role producing tasting menus for residential guests as well as outdoor hospitality in the beautiful Welsh countryside, this is an integral part of the client experience.
Responsibilities
Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues and assist in the daily operation of the kitchen.
Ensure smooth running of the kitchen, including stock rotation, health and safety, food hygiene, paperwork and food safety plan.
Prepare dishes from scratch using fresh produce to a consistently high quality, taste and presentation according to the Executive Chef's guidelines.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar fresh food environment showing excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients and processes. You will be expected to work at multiple sites.
Ability to multitask under pressure with a positive can-do attitude, working independently in the absence of, and directed by, your lead Chef.
Up to date food hygiene certificate required and, preferably, Level 2 or higher in professional cookery.
Hours, Salary & Contact

Head Mechanic
We have an exciting position become available in our workshop for a Head Mechanic to join our team at Bettws Hall, Mid-Wales, SY16 3DS
Ideally you will be a Level 3 skilled technician or alternatively are well experienced in a similar role on motor vehicles and agricultural engineering.
As Mid-Wales' largest Kawasaki ATV dealership, you will be working on new, used and servicing of a wide variety of machinery both in the workshop and out on site.
Computer literacy will be required for logging in maintenance, dealing with general enquiries and carrying out minor admin. You will also be required to oversee fleet and dealership parts stock levels whilst maintaining a safe working environment adhering to the company's Health & Safety.

Breakfast Chef / Day Cook
We are seeking breakfast chefs to join our established team independently cooking breakfast and set lunches for up to 20 guests.

Housekeeping
We have two excellent part-time positions available in our housekeeping team looking after our luxury accommodation in Mid-Wales.
Responsibilities
Based at our stunning lodges at Bettws Hall in Bettws, SY16 3DS, with a requirement to service our other nearby sites, this role will suit an enthusiastic housekeeper looking for 16+ hours per week.
You will be a key member of a team responsible for the presentation and cleaning of our accommodation, comprising bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms.
These are permanent part-time positions with an immediate start date.
