Throughout the Spring and Summer we were busy hatching and rearing our British Game Assured stock for what has been an incredible first-half of the season. Documenting this through our Egg-to-Peg-to-Plate blogs we been highlighting the remarkable journey each bird takes to the moment of the flush.
The key message from the Game Week celebration is that this journey does not stop here. And with such a wholesome, healthy and tasty meat, neither should it.

Across our six exclusive estates, our renowned hospitality team work hard and creatively to produce and serve a variety of game dishes throughout the day, from Mallard Duck on Fig canapés to a hearty Game Pie lunch, all concluded with a marinated, ready-to-cook brace for our guests to take home as our gesture of thanks for being part of our season.
The attraction of game is not exclusive just to the shoot day either. At Bettws game can be found on our evening menu in our luxurious lodges and, furthermore, in our local restaurant, the Bull & Heifer, where a variety of dishes are crafted from locally-sourced game, meat and ingredients.
Further afield, we support the British Game Assurance in their hard-work promoting British game to major customers including supermarkets and restaurant chains. By emphasising the incredibly strict standards and industry-leading welfare that BGA-assured Game Farms adhere to, we hope the Great British Game Week continues to highlight the many attractions to stocking game meat on shelves and menus across the country.
