Not more than an hour’s drive from Madrid lies the imperial city of Toledo and in the surrounding countryside the grand 16th Century Palace of the Ventosilla Estate.

Ventosilla is one of the most traditional shooting estates in Spain and possibly the most famous. It encompasses contrasting terrain from hilly, rugged mountains running down to the marshy boarders of Lake Castrejon. The birds are presented in a variety of ways; high driven game reminiscent of traditional Devon shooting or flushed like grouse from Scotland.
