We have 2 great opportunities for individuals with a love of country pursuits. These roles would probably best suit a gap year student or recent graduate looking for experience or an entry position into the shooting industry. Both people must be confident, polite and personable. Any experience in hospitality would be favoured.
- Gun Room Assistant. Based in our gun room throughout the season you will be greeting guests, showing them to their accommodation and storing/cleaning their guns. On shoot day mornings you will ensure everyone’s guns are ready for them to promptly leave and assist with the stocking and up keep of the lodges and gunroom. You will play an active role in the selling of our gunroom stock including Holland & Holland guns and other premium brands. You must be well presented and courteous at all times. There may be, at times, need for you to help on shoot days beating/loading.
- Front of house staff. Based at our lodges in Bettws Cedewain, you will serve refreshments to our guests throughout their stay, from welcome drinks through to their 5 course evening meal. Experience in waitressing or bar work preferred but not necessary. You must pre-empt guests’ needs and unobtrusively meet them. Your role is to be friendly and helpful to your guests and ensure that the hospitality they receive is first class. The working hours will be in the evening, approximately from 4-10pm but this may vary depending on the guests and business needs.
Both roles are to commence mid-September until the beginning of February, with favourable rates of pay and accommodation if needed.
Please contact Jason Perry with a covering letter and your CV if you wish to apply for this role firstname.lastname@example.org or 01686 650628 for more information. Closing date 31st August 2017.
