Partridge season

Starting with a bang! – Partridge season kicks off at Chargot and Molland

The 1st of September marks the start of the partridge shooting season and the Exmoor valleys will burst into life as the season kicks off on two of Britain’s premier partridge shoots. Chargot and Molland have long been renowned for challenging high bird shooting and on the back of a superb rearing year the partridges are looking strong and healthy.
We do still have a couple of partridge shooting days available for individuals to join others on our individual gun roving syndicate or whole days available for teams if you have six to nine guns to make up the line. The dates available for partridge shooting run from September through to October.

Most of the day’s partridge shooting we organise have anticipated bags of circa 400 birds between the line of guns however, this can be amended to suit your own requirements. The cost per bird would include, coffee upon arrival, mid morning elevenses, a superb three course lunch with wine and port and afternoon tea and cakes. Not forgetting all that goes into such a day like the beaters, stops and pickers.

For the list of dates currently available on our roving syndicate please visit our individual guns page or give us a call on 01686 650 628 for the available dates for whole days this season.
