Walking
There are many brilliant walks in the area, but just one might be that around The Stiperstones.
The walk starts from The Bog, an area which even fifty years ago still had some fading signs of the intense industrial activity of Victorian days. Although the start is relatively high, the walk drops down to Stiperstones Village with its comfortable inn, before the climb up a deep valley.
The climax of the walk is the broad ridge with its rocky quartz tors, including the Devil's Chair.
From here the views are remarkable. Follow the link for more details on this and other great walks in the area.
