Bettws Hall introduced its Roving Syndicate eight years ago with the aim to bring together guests who were looking for great sport at some of the country’s premier shooting estates amongst enjoyable and friendly company and within a relaxed atmosphere.

Since then the Syndicate has grown and grown and many of our guests have created syndicates of their own on the back of our introductions.

We are delighted to offer a great range of dates, locations and bag sizes to our Syndicate, so hopefully there is something for everyone. The list of dates is published and our guests can pick and choose as they wish. We also try and match suitable guests together to ensure that our days have a great ambiance.

The Roving Syndicate days encompass all the fine hospitality expected with Bettws Hall and the days are as much about the social aspect as the sport. A typical day would include coffee upon arrival, mid morning elevenses, a superb three course lunch with wine and port, and afternoon tea and cakes. Not forgetting all that goes into such a day like the beaters, stops and pickers.

We take great pleasure in helping to arrange all of the finer details on a day from; loaders, cartridges and gun hire to transport, accommodation and even clothing.

Accommodation can be arranged in an array of hotels and pubs close to the shoots or our own lodges in Mid Wales. This is the perfect way to relax both before and after a great days shooting and meet the team too.

Each of the days will be sold as individual places on an eight gun line and we recommend that guests use double guns or a single with a stuffer if preferred for all 400 bird days. The dates we currently have available are as follows:
