Bettws Hosts
Your Hosts

A days’ shooting would not be complete without someone friendly and knowledgeable to orchestrate it! With over 120 years experience between the team and many characters amongst them, your host for the day would be one of the following:

Gwyn Evans Gwyn Evans
Managing Director
Gwyn founded the company in the late 1980’s. Diversifying from farming he formed the Bettws Hall shoot and hatched chicks to supply it. With hard work and dedication things have snow balled into the company it is today. Gwyn frequently runs days on all of the estates.
Anthony Anthony Pryce
Director
Anthony has worked for the company for the past 17 years. He spent over seven of them as Head Keeper of the Kempton Estate so has enormous experience in showing top quality pheasants and partridges on all our estates. He now manages all the Game Farms in the summer and hosts shoot days throughout the winter. Frequently at The Brigands, Anthony will ensure every one has a great days sport.

Will William Criddle
Shoot Manager
Will joined the company four years ago and is responsible for Bettws Hall’s shooting program both at home and abroad. He previously managed the E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground and now adores running a great day ‘on the real thing’ rather than clays! Frequently at Delbury, Kempton and Vaynor as well as our oversees destinations. He runs great days out.
Caleb Caleb Sutton
Molland Manager
Caleb’s knowledge and experience of the Molland Estate is second to none, as for five years we was Head Keeper of the West Molland beat. Now Estate Manager, Caleb runs all of the days on the Estates and ensures each and every guests has a truly spectacular days shooting. His passion for high birds and ability to show game at the edge of everyone's ability makes a shoot day there even more special.

Richard Richard Crofts
Shooting and Stock Sales
Richard joined the company 2 years ago and during this time he regularly hosts both in Mid Wales and the West Country giving all our clients a spectacular day. At the end of the shoot season he moves on to the Game Sales department selling our top quality pheasant and partridge and managing all aspects of the Sales Programme. During this time he also looks after his ‘Individual Shoot’ clients on the Sporting side.

William William Moreton
Sporting Agent
Will joined the Bettws Hall team a year ago and continues his role in the shooting office organising both team and individual gun days. Will is in his element come shoot day. His love of country sports has taken him across the globe and his passion for hosting British driven shooting is clear for those who join him at our estates in both England and Wales.

Mark Mark Harris
Assistant Game Farm Manager
Throughout the summer months Mark can be found at the Game Farm ensuring that our pheasant and partridge poults are reared to the highest possible standards. Whilst in the winter, his wealth of shooting experience enables him to host great days out, often at Kempton and Bettws Hall.
