Gregynog Hall
As you make your way up the meandering drive between the ancient woodland you relax and your mind drifts away to the bygone days. At the end stands Gregynog Hall which is both charming and impressive too. But most of all, it is welcoming. Inside, the 15th Century oak panelling captivates you as fresh coffee is served while the guests arrive.
After the day’s briefing, and the usual banter on which peg has been drawn, we move off to the first drive not far from the Hall. The estates languishes along the Wern (or valley) bottom, which has many steep sides, clad with woodlands and perfect for shooing some of the best driven pheasants in Montgomeryshire.
Great shooting which is seamlessly organised is only one aspect of a perfect day out at Gregynog Hall. For guests travelling from further afield, accommodation is also available at the Hall on the nights between your shoot. The fine fare and attention to detail will ensure you and your guests have a trip to truly remember.
