Estate Essentials: Brigands

KEEPING UP EXPECTATIONS – SUCCESSFUL RELEASE AND NEW DRIVES
After speaking with the keepers at Brigands this morning I am happy to report that all is well on our mountainous Snowdonia estate. Release could not have gone better with the birds settling well into their new environment and starting to make their way to the drives.

The keepers have not been resting on their laurels but have been busy working on a new drive, ‘Devils Chair’. This drive will be introduced and tested this season for the first time and everyone is excited to see how it will go. It is located on the east side of the estate and see’s birds flushed off the side of a mountain and in true Brigands style may see birds reach the edge of range. One to test the Brigands regulars.

I’m also happy to report that after a quick estate site visit last week that ‘Tommies’ and ‘Waterfall’ are still looming as high and imposing as ever, ready and waiting for the season to return as the poults make their long journey up.

We have only 1 team day left and a few select individual pegs available for Brigands this season.

I look forward to welcoming returning and new guns alike this season, RC.
