Dove Shooting in Argentina

Just over an hours drive from Cordoba’s airport lies the Estancia, which is a purposely built shooting lodge in the very heart of the dove shooting country. Surrounded by woodlands and fields of sunflowers, guests are never more than a ten minute drive to their shooting blind. The doves start to fly over in ones and twos then as the sun rises the numbers increase culminating in flocks coming overhead. The sight of a million or so Doves in the air passing by is quite astonishing!

Once the initial drive is over and there are piles empties in the bin, it is the perfect time to practice. As there are so many doves coming continually you can decided to shoot left to rights only or right to lefts, perhaps high pheasant types or partridges types high over the tree tops. This has to be the perfect place to perfect your swing and technique in time for the season back at home!

Throughout your shoot help is at hand and your own bird boy can assist you. Whether that is by double gunning, stuffing, toping your cartridge bag up or simply passing you a beer from the cool box he sits on!
