We have had many great days across all of our estates in both Wales and the West Country and enjoyed seeing all of our regular guns as well as many new faces we look forward to seeing more of in years to come.
One of the many high points of this season has to be the drives that we have changed and developed across the Bettws Hall shoots – Coed Tafol at Vaynor Park, the famous Chimneys at Chargot, Viagra down Hill at Kempton and of course the greatly anticipated TOMMIES at the Brigands. With many an experienced team being baffled by the height, speed and unpredictable flight of these stunning pheasants at Tommies, it really is a drive that will be sought after in seasons to come. We are looking forward to further developing this drive next season and many more to make the shooting even more of a spectacle and present even more testing birds!
Another change that our returning guns have noticed this season as they are welcomed into the Bettws Hall sporting lodges is the refurbished Willows Lodge and the addition of our new underground gun and show room, with a selection of some of the finest guns made in the UK! We are now also providing a gun storage service, so if anyone is looking for somewhere to ‘Over Summer’ their guns then please do get in touch.
As we have now seen the end to this fantastic season, we are already looking to next season. With bookings coming in thick and fast it is already promising to be a busy one. If you have not already been in touch with us, please do not hesitate contacting us and we would be delighted if you were able to join us next season.
Wishing you all of the very best for the spring and summer months.
