What an amazing start to the season! September has flown by with the speed of a partridge at Molland. We have had some great partridge days so far, with lots of positive feedback from guns who’ve shot at Molland. Small tweaks were made in preparation for the start of the season and ‘boy oh boy’ did they give us results. The new hedge laid at the top of ‘Folly’ has made a significant difference to the height and trajectory of the birds.
With the start of Pheasant season, we are looking forward to introducing a couple of new drives at Chargot and seeing how the improvements made over the summer pan out.
‘We arrived at Molland in dark and overcast conditions, full of anticipation for the day ahead. Soon the sky filled with partridge flying almost vertically above us. After an excellent lunch, our host Caleb ensured that the day reached its climax for our final drive, ‘Dipper!’ This truly was a partridge day to remember and showed Molland at its absolute best!’

Other than the fantastic shooting in the West Country, we have also received positive comments from a number of guns on both the delicious food produced by Ann Bonaface and her team and the lovely new furnishings at Bremley House.
There is some limited availability for team days in the West Country this season and as attached a limited few spaces left on our roving syndicate.
