“An absolute must for all high bird enthusiasts, a truly memorable shoot in incredible surroundings.”
Rob Hunt on The Brigands
“A trip to Bettws Hall is so much more than shooting quality birds. The excitement builds from the moment you pack your kit and the experience starts when you reach your destination in deepest darkest Wales. The two days we had with your team will stay in our memories for many a year. Vaynor Park never disappoints and once again provided quality quarry a plenty and we made the Brigands the next day even harder by handicapping ourselves with sizeable hangovers from the superb hospitality back at the pub then the lodges. It’s the shooting that brings you to Bettws but it’s always the fun we have over the two great days that brings us back every year. And long may that continue – Alex Keevil”

“We arrived at Molland in dark and overcast conditions, full of anticipation for the day ahead. Soon the sky filled with partridge flying almost vertically above us. After an excellent lunch, our host Caleb ensured that the day reached its climax for our final drive, ‘Dipper!’ This truly was a partridge day to remember and showed Molland at its absolute best!” – Rob Hunt

“I think Maesmawr is my favourite shoot of all, one of the best shoots in the country with wonderful hospitality to boot. Always guaranteed to have a super days sport.”
Bill Ives on Maesmawr Hall
I would just like to say a huge thank you to the team at Vaynor Park, I shot a 500 bird day on Tuesday 24th October, and what a fantastic day it was!
The birds were superb, the lowest shootable birds were higher than most high birds in Kent.
The scenery around the shoot was beautiful as was the estate.
The hospitality on the day was second to none, being a single gun, I was made welcome as soon as I arrived.
I would recommend this shoot to anyone, I will hopefully return for another day.
Phil our host, the beaters and the picker ups made this a day to remember, and I certainly will !
